It’s an amazing time right now as I celebrate Maisie’s third Gotcha Day.
For those of you who might never have heard of the phrase “Gotcha Day”, it’s the day your pet companion came into your life.
I do celebrate Maisie’s birthday on June 6th but the Gotchaversary is very special. I celebrate this event on the first Monday of August as it’s a holiday here in Canada (Ontario calls it Simcoe Day or the Civic Holiday).

Would you like to know how my girl Maisie came into my life? It’s a sad story so you might need a tissue or two.
